Feel free to post your interpretation below!
For me the heroin got abducted by an alchemist who seeks eternal life, much like the plot from Kai Meyer's Die Alchemistin (https://www.amazon.de/Die-Alchimistin-Kai-Meyer/dp/3453151704). She is not there to be sacrificed, but rather to serve as a parent for the children who are kept in the building.
But the heroin awakes to early and tries to escape, and - in the case of my first run - she goes back to being a parent.
In my opinion the key of this fiction is a special ability of the children that are being kept. The alchemist must have found a way to use their youth as a philosopher's stone. It's unclear whether he could use any given child for his purpose or if he chose some who had some powers. My interpretation is that he just kidnapped random kids :o

My interpretation of the story is about the mental phases, and decision making process, people go through during life-changing events.
-
My interpretation of the game is concerning people's choices with regard to difficulties in life and how to face such difficulties.
by the way, i felt that more explanation of the purpose of the game is needed without leading the players for sure.
Good luck Kirsty

- Decisions have consequences
- people can do terrible things
- even kids can do terrible things
- kids need help and guidance from adults
- trusting others can be difficult (someone might be trying to help us)
- the Dr. is a serial killer and forces kids to dismember bodies

The protagonist has been abducted while asleep. In my ending of the story the protagonist comes to accept their new life. Much is left to interpretation; I assumed that the player was in a mental health facility but nothing I read actually confirms that.
